Established in 1947
Brandon House has humble beginnings. It started after WWII, when Thomas Carter began selling furniture out of his car. Soon after, he started selling furniture out of a truck, making deliveries in surrounding rural areas. When he got a warehouse in Suffolk, Virginia, he named our store Carter & Sons Furniture. Today, renamed to Brandon House, our company is still run by the Carter family. We are now seeing our 3rd and 4th generation of family members selling furniture in our home town.
